Which particular rules are binding, those of GINETEX or the ISO standard?
GINETEX determines labelling. This body introduced the care labelling system in the sixties and standardised it at international level. The system is also constantly brought into line with technical and ecological requirements. In 1990, GINETEX allowed ISO to incorporate the symbols which are protected trademarks into a standard.
